Terms of use

The terms for using Bambino Montessori Pre-School, Primary & Junior High's website and parent portal.

These terms are between you and Bambino Montessori Pre-School, Primary & Junior High, New Achimota, Ga North District (GW-1158-8654), Accra ("the school"). They cover the school's website and, for parents and guardians, the parent portal and the messages, bills and other services the school runs through SchoolOS, the software it uses to keep its records.

By using the website or the portal you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them, and speak to the school about any other way of dealing with it.

The words, photographs and logos on the website belong to the school or to the people who gave the school permission to use them. You may share links to the website, but not copy its content for another purpose without the school's permission.

Please do not try to break, overload or get round the security of the website or the portal, or use them to send anything unlawful or offensive. Enquiries sent through the contact form go to the school office.

The school gives each parent or guardian their own portal account. Keep your password to yourself; the school will never ask you for it. You see only your own children, and only what the school has chosen to share there.

Tell the school when your phone number, email address or home address changes, so that messages and bills reach you. The school may pause an account to protect a child, for example when a court order or a safeguarding concern makes that necessary.

The school issues bills for fees and other charges in GHS. Each bill shows what it is for and when it is due, and every payment the school records gets a receipt.

If you think a bill is wrong, contact the school office on [email protected] or 050 391 6322 · 030 396 4419 · 024 338 9038 before its due date and the school will look into it.

The school contacts parents and guardians by text message and email about school notices, bills, reminders and their children. These messages are part of running the school, so they go to the contact details the school holds for you.

Keep those details up to date, and tell the school if a message reaches you that was meant for someone else.

A parent or guardian can order items from the school store for their own child. Prices are in GHS and are fixed when you order; the school tells you how an order is paid when you place it.

Items are handed to your child at school, and a member of staff records the handover with a photograph you can see in the portal. Ask the school office about returning an item.

The school sets its bus routes, stops and times, and which children ride each one. Children should be at their stop on time and follow the driver's and escort's instructions.

Tell the school in good time if your child will not be riding, or if someone else will meet them at the stop.

Pupils may borrow books from the school library until the due date the library gives them, and the school sends reminders about books that are late.

A book that is lost or damaged may be charged for, at the amount the school sets.

Teachers set homework through SchoolOS, and pupils hand in their own work there. The school keeps what is handed in as part of the pupil's record.

In an examination taken on screen, the pupil works alone. The examination room notes when a pupil leaves the examination screen, leaves full screen or tries to paste into an answer, and shows those notes to the teacher.

The school records when pupils arrive and leave, including by scanning a pupil pass where the school issues them. A pass belongs to the school and stops working when a pupil leaves.

The school releases a child only to a parent or guardian, or to a person the school has recorded as allowed to collect them. Tell the school in advance about anyone new who will collect your child.

Once a pupil is admitted, their school record is kept and cannot be deleted. Mistakes are corrected, and every correction is logged. When a pupil leaves, the record is kept for 20 years from the day they left, so the school can confirm their attendance, results and conduct when they or another school ask. The privacy notice explains this in full.

The school updates these terms when the way it works changes; the version on this page is the one that applies.
